Far from being an over-populated and impoverished planet, the middle of this century could see the world transformed for everyone with enough food, clean water, medicines, fuels, and polymers for all - and with these produced from sustainable resources.

John Emsley explained how together we could create a healthy, wealthy, and sustainable Britain and set an example to the world.
