Water sustainability - a global challenge

Richard Allan, Chief Scientist at Scottish Water, discussed the challenges we face in securing freshwater supplies at a global level. During the discussion Richard will touched upon the impact of climate change, food security and the emerging importance of virtual water. He positioned the global challenges from a UK perspective and highlighted how some of the emerging implications may affect us on a more local and regional basis.
