RSC President Professor David Phillips receives the CBE

A delighted Professor Phillips with equally enthusiastic seven-month-old grandson Benedict.
David displays the CBE he was awarded at Buckingham Palace yesterday, to add to the OBE he received in the Queen's birthday honours in June 1999 for services to science education.
