RSC Strategic Partners
As a charity, the RSC works in many ways to support the chemical sciences. In 2006 the RSC began a campaign to engage more closely with leading companies, foundations and individuals to find areas of common ground and identify projects that would be strengthened by combining their expertise and resources with those of the RSC.
Led by former RSC President Simon Campbell CBE FRS, Richard Pike, CEO and a select committee of distinguished industrialists and scientists, the campaign has focused on projects that will help ensure an enthusiastic, innovative and thriving scientific community is in place to face the future, both in the UK and around the world.
£4,380,000 has been raised to date.
All Partnerships are:
- over five years
- specifically for high priority activities
- aim to make a real and measurable impact.
