Leaving a Legacy to the RSC
A legacy or bequest is one of the most personal gifts that you can give. Through a legacy you can make a direct and lasting contribution to the future of the RSC and the areas that you feel most passionately about.
Many people would like to give a substantial gift in their lifetime but are unable to do so due to present financial commitments. A legacy is a way of making an extraordinary and lasting difference to the work of the RSC without a current financial commitment.
Informing the RSC of your legacy commitment allows us to appropriately plan for the future and if you have any specific requests we would encourage you to get in touch with us prior to making your Will so we can work with you to maximise the impact of your gift.
Types of Legacy
There are many different types of legacy you may wish to consider when leaving a gift in Will to the RSC.
Royal Society of Chemistry 1841 Legacy Society
The 1841 Society was created to accord recognition to all those who have pledged a gift in Will to the Royal Society of Chemistry.
