Current Graduate vacancies in Science Policy
The RSC Science and Technology Department is vibrant and busy with a wide ranging portfolio of activities aimed at advancing the chemical sciences in the UK and internationally. We drive policy, support networking and knowledge transfer within the chemical sciences community, provide high quality training, reward achievement through awards and deliver high impact policy workshops and seminars.
During the 12 months you will undergo a structured training and development programme based on a project led approach working across a range of activities aimed at advancing the chemical sciences in the UK and internationally. The role holder will gain experience in science policy and communication, event management and also in some aspects of science based marketing.
As well as on-the-job training guided by experienced mentors, you will follow a programme of internal and external courses, visits and work experience in other departments at the RSC. Throughout the year, you will gather a portfolio of successfully completed projects and examples of your work plus complete a record of the skills you have acquired. The skills you develop will equip you for a career in science policy and science marketing.
