Joining our Publishing Department as a Graduate trainee you will undergo a programme of structured training and development guided by experienced mentors within their team. 

As well as on-the-job training, you will follow a programme of internal and external courses, visits and work experience in other departments at the RSC.
 
All departments work together to ensure that the RSC journals are maintained to the highest standards and are marketed effectively. 

In addition to the full and varied training programme, there are plenty of opportunities for career development at the RSC, including the chance to write articles for the Chemical ScienceChemical Technology and Chemical Biology supplements which are featured in the RSC journals and in Chemistry World.

This is a great opportunity to work with dynamic journal teams and academics to ensure the RSC publishes leading journals and databases for the chemical science community worldwide. You will be a critical part of the whole publishing process from initial submission through to final publication.

As a Publishing Editor the main purpose of your role is to contribute to the growth and quality of the journals through the day-to-day operation of the peer review and publication process for journal articles submitted for publication, according to agreed levels of quality and to agreed schedules. You will also carry out production tasks for database products to agreed levels of quality and to agreed schedules.
