Site of the Royal College of Chemistry

A Royal Society of Chemistry Landmark Plaque was unveiled on the site of the former Royal College of Chemistry (1845-1872) on Oxford Street by Professor Charles Rees (Imperial College) to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of the man who inspired the founding of The Royal College of Chemistry and Imperial College - Justus Von Liebig.
The anniversary was further celebrated by a meeting of The Society for the History of Alchemy and Chemistry in South Kensington.
