Science Museum Activities

It Takes Guts - 7-9 November 2005

As part of Chemistry Week the Science Museum performed 'It Takes Guts', a unique, dynamic and utterly disgusting show about food groups, nutrition and digestion. This event followed the journey of food through the body, examining the processes it undergoes at each stage.

For Chemistry Week only each ticket cost only £1 per student (usually £3). Teachers' tickets were free.

Chemistry Trail

During Chemistry Week a trail around the Science Museum was run highlighting the Chemistry in the exhibits. This will help you to know how much chemistry is in the different exhibits featured in the museum.
