At this ceremony our Chemistry Week Photo Competition was officially launched. The competition is all about capturing how chemistry has enhanced our everyday lives or what the world would be like without chemistry and is open to schools and the general public.

An Early Day Motion was tabled in the House of Commons about Chemistry Week on Monday 31 October bringing the activities of the Royal Society of Chemistry to the forefront of the Houses attention.
