During Chemistry Week 2007, the Science Museum, London, organised a free programme of school events in their lecture theatre, including:
Flash Bang Wallop Show
Which saw an exploration of the science of combustion and explosions, using spectacular live demonstrations and experiments, students were be taken on a high-octane trip through all things fiery and explosive!
The Supercool Show
Students were treated to an action packed show about heat and temperature, melting and boiling points, changes of state and the transfer of energy. They Marvelled as plasticine Pete was plunged into liquid nitrogen and were wowed by the banana hammer experiment.
