Is it worth the risk?

As always, taking drugs is a risky business. Most performance enhancing drugs have health side effects of some kind. For example, taking anabolic steroids may lead to high blood pressure, infertility, kidney failure and heart disease. If EPO levels in the body are too high, too many red blood cells will be produced which will lead to a thickening of the blood and potential blood clots, heart attack and stroke.
