RESEARCH INTERESTS

Exploratory Inorganic Synthesis: Low-coordinate Transition Metal Complexes; Multiply Bonded Heavier Main Group Compounds: Metal-Metal multiple bonds in transition metal complexes, Low-valent Main Group Metal Hydrides; Clusters of Group 14 Elements: Isomerism in Main-Group Compounds. 

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE: 

Postdoctoral, Stanford University with R. H. Holm on the synthesis and characterization of molybdenum and tungsten iron sulfur clusters as models for the active site in the nitrogenase enzyme. Graduate Study, University of Sussex with M.F. Lappert involved the synthesis and stabilization of low oxidation state and coordination numbers in organometallic compounds of phosphorus.
