Information for exhibitors and sponsors
Following on from the highly successful 14th and 15th Biennial National Atomic Spectroscopy Symposium (BNASS) held at University of Sussex in 2008 and the Hilton Doubletree at Cambridge in 2010, we have much pleasure in again inviting companies, to participate in the BNASS Exhibition.
This symposium is very popular with atomic spectroscopists from around the world. We have an internationally renowned list of plenary and invited speakers and there will be a strong contribution from Europe and North America in the contributed papers. As in previous years, we expect the symposium to be well attended over the three-day period.
The format adopted at the previous BNASS meetings has been found to be ideal for exhibitors. That is where the exhibition area becomes the centre for formal and informal breaks between lectures, where refreshments are served, late afternoon and early evening sponsored events and mixer sessions which, of course, include exhibition mixer and poster sessions each day. The opportunity for "User-Group" meetings to be held is also available. This obviously affords a maximum of contact time for exhibitors with participants and rightly integrates the exhibition into the symposium.
In order to accommodate this arrangement at the University of Surrey, Guildford, the number of full stand areas available to exhibitors has had to be restricted to 14. To celebrate the 16th Symposium and to highlight the importance of company involvement in BNASS, a full two days has been allocated to the exhibition, which will be held in the Lecture Theatre Building at the University of Surrey. The limit on numbers unfortunately means that stand areas will have to be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
In order to demonstrate the importance that exhibitors play at BNASS, the committee has effectively maintained the costs for the stand area, compared with previous BNAS symposia, allowing more cost-effective participation. The price of each stand area is now only £500 for the two days. This cost includes day registration at the conference for one representative from your company (day registration includes attendance at the day lectures, tea and coffee breaks, lunch and mixer sessions - but not evening / conference dinners or accommodation).
Exhibitors
Exhibitors have the opportunity to advertise their involvement at the 16th BNASS through our website. The inclusion of an exhibitor's official logo on our web pages is made available.
Sponsors
The separate sponsorship of mixer sessions, social events, prizes and student bursaries remains open to all, as is the inclusion of publicity material in the conference bags.
If you wish to register for the exhibition or wish any further details please contact Dr Mike Foulkes.
