Paul has over 25 years of experience in environmental research and consultancy. Technically, his experience is built around environmental radiochemistry and marine science, including expertise in relation to technological enhancement of natural radioactivity (NORM).  

He has often been engaged as an expert in IAEA working groups on these subjects.  Paul has substantial experience as a project manager and regularly leads multi-disciplinary teams addressing clients' needs.  In 2008 Paul was appointed as UCLan's Professor of Environmental Radioactivity.
