CrystEngComm Symposium: Pharmaceutical Polymorphism, 4 November 2011, The Chemistry Centre, London, UK

CrystEngComm one-day symposium on pharmaceutical polymorphism was held in London in November 2011. The purpose of RSC journal symposia is to bring together scientists in a stimulating and friendly environment that fosters collaborations between the researchers and the universities involved in the meetings. The CrystEngComm symposium featured a selection of lectures reflecting the academic and industrial breadth of the field of pharmaceutical polymorphism. Talks by internationally recognised researchers covered the following topics: solid form screening, selection and manufacturing; thermodynamics, phase diagrams, properties, characterization; structure prediction; and patents.

The symposium was supported by CrystEngComm, a journal at the forefront of the design and understanding of solid-state and crystalline materials, from RSC Publishing.
