General Information
This page contains general information on the running of DD10 including details of how a Dalton Discussion works.
Dates and times
Registration will take place on the morning of Monday 3 September and the Discussion will begin that afternoon. Four topics will be discussed during the meeting as outlined in the introduction page. The meeting will end at lunchtime on Wednesday 5 September.
Social events
All delegates will be invited to the poster session and welcome drinks reception on Monday 3 September, and a conference dinner will take place on the evening of Tuesday 4 September. Tickets to the conference dinner are available to book when registering.
Dalton Discussions - how they work
The abstracts that fit closely to the themes of the meeting will be selected to be developed into full papers and presented in the discussion sessions. The full papers will be refereed and then sent to all participants as preprints before the conference. Each author will be given approximately 5 minutes to summarise the key points of their paper in order to leave the majority of time open for discussion.
The papers will be published as a special issue of Dalton Transaction, which will constitute a permanent record of the meeting.
The detailed discussion will not be published verbatim, but some comments will be published on the journal website as supplementary information.
In addition, the Scientific Committee will summarise the flavour of the discussion in an extended editorial in the special issue.
The keynote and discussion papers will be supplemented by contributed posters.
Sponsorship and exhibition
A range of sponsorship opportunities are available for this Discussion Meeting, including taking an exhibition stand or sponsoring an item such as the delegate abstract book or a social event. A sponsorship guide will shortly be available on this site. In the meantime, if you have any questions regarding sponsorship, please contact us at RSC Conferences.

Pre-prints and joining instructions have been sent out to all delegates registered to attend the meeting. If you have not received these by 20 August please contact RSC Conferences as there may be a problem with your booking.
