Registration

All bookings will be handled by a local destination management company (based at the University of California at Davis) and receipts will be issued by them.

Delegates will be able to book online using a secure booking and payment service. Please note that payment must be made at the time of registering. No invoices will be issued by the University of California. Bookings (including tickets for social events and accommodation reservations) will only be confirmed on receipt of payment. 

RSC staff will issue all delegate joining instructions and pre-prints, and will be in attendance on-site to help delegates with their enquiries.

Registration includes:

• Attendance of the meeting sessions
• Refreshments throughout the meeting
• Attendance at the poster drinks reception on Monday 23 June
• Lunch on Tuesday 24 June
• A copy of the discussion pre-prints
• A copy of the final Dalton Transactions special edition (for full member and non-member registrants) relating to Dalton Discussion 11, which will be issued shortly after the date of meeting.   

Please note that registration fees will be charged in $US. Approximate Pounds Sterling equivalents are shown in brackets for reference.

Accommodation

A limited amount of bed and breakfast accommodation is available on site at Foothill Hall of Residence (where the meeting will take place) and will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Bedrooms are single occupancy, and living rooms and bathroom facilities are shared with other rooms in the same suite. Accommodation must be booked through the local destination management company (see registration link).

The on-site accommodation and meals package includes:

• Overnight accommodation on the nights of Sunday 22 June, Monday 23 June and Tuesday 24 June (to check out on Wednesday 25 June) 
• Breakfast on Monday 23 June, Tuesday 24 June and Wednesday 25 June
• Evening meals on Sunday 22 June and Monday 23 June

Please book early if you are travelling with a partner and require a twin bedroom (a limited number of twin rooms are available at a per person cost of approximately 70% of the single occupancy rate). If you are interested in this option, please contact us at RSC Conferences to check availability before you book with the destination management company.

Early Arrivals and Extra Nights' Accommodation

If you are due to arrive in Berkeley before Sunday 22 June or wish to stay an extra night after Dalton Discussion 11, you can book a room in Summer Visitor accommodation at UC Berkeley's Stern/Foothill Housing Complex (the main venue of Dalton Discussion 11) for $59.00 per night. 

Unfortunately, our registration booking agent, UC Davis, cannot take room bookings for nights outside the standard Dalton Discussion 11 accommodation package dates, so it will not be possible to add extra nights' accommodation to your registration fee; please book this direct with UC Berkeley (link at the end of this page).

Delegates booking into Summer Visitor Accommodation before DD11 may need to check out on Sunday 22 June before checking in for their standard accommodation package. If you plan to arrive early, please drop us a line at RSC Conferences to let us know - we will ask UC Berkeley to keep you in the same room throughout your stay -please note however that we cannot guarantee this.

Conference Banquet

The conference banquet will take place in the ornate surroundings of the Berkeley City Club, a California State Historical Landmark, which is situated within walking distance of Foothill Hall of residence.
