Registration deadline - 23 May

Dalton Discussion 11 is an RSC meeting, supported by the ACS Division of Inorganic Chemistry. It will take a fresh look at the field of main group chemistry, in particular the interface with other subject areas.

Topics that will be covered in the discussion meeting include:

  • Main group multiple bonds and unusual oxidation states
  • Main group in macromolecules/ rings/ clusters
  • Main group elements as ligands in organometallic chemistry and coordination complexes
  • Main group in materials

The discussion meeting format requires that delegates have read all papers in advance. Just five minutes is then given to summarise the new, unpublished research in each paper, leaving the majority of the meeting free for discussion. The resulting papers are published in a special issue of Dalton Transactions.
