Bursaries

There are three bursary schemes available for delegates to attend FD146. 

The criteria for each scheme are available here and the application forms can also be downloaded from this page.

RSC Bursary

Conference bursaries are available to student and younger members of the RSC in the early stages of their career (typically within 5 years of completing a first or postgraduate degree) who do not have support available from their employer or a research grant. 

Applicants should be RSC members at the time of application and at the meeting for which the travel bursary is being given.

The bursary is £150 per applicant and funding is supplied by the RSC Travel Grant Scheme.

ACS Bursary

The ACS Division of Colloid and Surface Chemistry is pleased to be able to offer bursaries to attend FD146 to those meeting the eligibility criteria. 

Bursaries are available to student members of the ACS and other members of the ACS in the early stages of their career (typically within 5 years of completing a first or postgraduate degree) who do not have support available from their employer or research grant to attend major ACS conferences.

Applicants should be ACS members at the time of the meeting and should commit to also attend the pre-Faraday student/postdoc research seminar (9 April - 11 April). The funding for this event is provided by NSF and DOE. Applicants may present the same poster at both meetings.

Bursaries are $240 per applicant.
