Bursaries

Conference bursaries are available to student members of the RSC and other members of the RSC in the early stages of their career (typically within 5 years of completing a first or postgraduate degree) who do not have support available from their employer or research grant. You can apply for a bursary by completing the relevant section of the pdf application form, and returning it by the early bird deadline date.

For more information on the bursary scheme, please see the RSC Conference Bursaries link (right).

SCI Bursaries

The SCI has announced that they will make available a number of £150 bursaries for students to attend the conference. These bursaries are limited to graduate student members of the SCI only. To apply for an SCI bursary, please contact RSC Conferences when you register. You will be contacted within a few days regarding the success of your application. Please note that if you have already been granted an RSC bursary to attend the conference, you will not be eligible to apply for an SCI bursary. For more details, please contact us at RSC Conferences.

Non-member?

Join the RSC when you attend 'Nanoparticles'. Non-members who enrol to attend this conference are eligible to join the RSC during 2007. This is included in your registration fee. When you hold a valid membership, any further RSC conferences and training events you attend will then be available to you at the member-discounted rate.
