Formulation 4 Chemists
25 September 2008, Bristol, UK
Introduction
It focuses on understanding and applying technologies to stabilise, test and optimise formulations which are based on dispersions and emulsions.
Combining the flexibility of interactive online training that can be accessed from work or home with a one-day practical workshop, the course will identify and examine a range of ideas that can be applied across a broad cross section of sectors.
Benefits to you and your organisation
The course focuses on building industrially relevant skills, and developing individuals' ability to contribute at a technical level.
Online modules are written and presented by a range of experts covering different aspects of formulation research. They are highly interactive and include simulations, animations, audio and video formats, with self-assessment questions that challenge users to extend and apply their knowledge to R&D problems. Online scientific and technical support is included.
The Bristol Colloid Centre workshop will extend skills by focusing on practical aspects of product R&D.
Who should attend?
Scientists and engineers involved in product development, particularly in the home and personal care, agrochemical, speciality chemicals, coatings and pharmaceutical industries. The course is particularly useful for graduates starting in formulation science and as a revision aid for more experienced scientists.
