Mixer Meeting Registration

Mixer Meetings are informal events which encourage RSC members within a local area to network with one another. They offer an ideal opportunity to introduce non-members to the RSC, and bring many organisations and institutions together. You may also find it useful to bring a quantity of business cards along with you. 

The meetings are very informal and a buffet is provided along with wine, beer and soft drinks which are available throughout the evening. 

Although the events are free, places are limited. If you would like to attend, please confirm your attendance by registering online. If you are unable to attend please let us know as soon as possible, so we can invite another guest.

How to register

To allow us to make the necessary catering arrangements and ensure your name is on the list of attendees, you are asked to register online. Please select the appropriate meeting from the list of registration links on this page.

A guest list and joining instructions will be sent one week before the event to all those attending. 

If you have a colleague who is interested in RSC activities and you think they would enjoy the meeting, please either direct them to this website where they can fill out a registration whether they are an RSC member or non-member or, send their contact details (name and email address) to RSC Events. This person need not be a member of the RSC.

Industry Hour

A short presentation by a local member from industry will be given before the mixer meeting begins. The presentation will start around 6.30 and is scheduled for 30 minutes. The aims are to give students and early career members a chance to learn about the variety of jobs there are in chemistry and to introduce you to local employers.
