Richard Pike on energy and climate change and how they will affect us in years to come.

Energy is a vital part of our daily lives; without it we cannot heat our homes, power our businesses or use transport, and securing our future energy needs whilst tackling climate change is the greatest challenge facing mankind today.

Dr Richard Pike is the chief executive of the Royal Society of Chemistry and has over 25 years' experience in the energy industry.  Occurring during the Copenhagen summit on Climate Change, his lecture discussed how science and engineering can meet the energy challenge.
