John Clough is an organic chemist, and a Syngenta Fellow, Group Leader and member of the Leadership Team in Syngenta's Chemistry Department at its Jealott's Hill International Research Centre near Bracknell in Berkshire. He has a particular interest in the use of natural products as leads for the discovery of innovative chemicals for crop protection.
