Future Challenges for Systems Medicine
The Young Life Scientists Annual Symposium 2012 is entitled "Future Challenges for Systems Medicine". This one day event will take place on Wednesday 27th June 2012 at the NowGen conference centre, Manchester, U.K. This is an exciting opportunity for young researchers and clinicians to engage with top quality investigators. The aim of the workshop is to explore how to reconcile clinical observations and experimental measurements with mechanistic multi-scale models of disease processes_. We also wish to emphasise collaboration between scientific and clinical communities in order to tackle future clinical problems. The event is sponsored by the Biochemical Society, Physiological Society, British Pharmacological Society and The University of Manchester Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Conferences fund. This allows students to attend free of charge.
