Chemistry: The Next Generation has been putting on innovative events for school pupils across London since 2004 and aims to reach students from backgrounds that do not traditionally participate in Higher Education.
In 2007, 50 Year 9 students from across London experienced the artistic side of chemistry during an two day event held at Imperial College and the V&A museum.
Activities looked at the crossover between the boundaries of art and chemistry - the creative side of science and the intrinsically beautiful nature of many chemical structures.
London Region Reporter Competition
The competition was won by students from Bishop Douglass School.
