Jennifer Faulkner studied for her BSc and PhD at The University of Durham, before beginning postdoctoral research, initially at ETH Zurich and later at the University of Glasgow, where she was subsequently awarded a lectureship. She has worked part-time as a Lecturer at UMIST and the University of Manchester since October 2003. She was appointed as Northwest Regional Coordinator in December 2004 and is based in the School of Chemistry at the University of Manchester, where she also continues to undertake some undergraduate teaching duties. Her role involves working with four NW Universities and other partners to ensure that a range of Chemistry outreach activities are available to students in all parts of the region.
