One of Chemistry: The Next Generation's most successful events in the Yorkshire and Humber region demonstrates how the programme is striving to work with schools that are considered to be difficult to reach and don't normally take part in outreach events.

A Hands-on chemistry day was organised  for a group of Year 7 students from a local school. The exciting programme, which included makings slime, sweet DNA and ice-cream meant students were kept busy enjoying themselves and asking questions.
