Science, HE and beyond, for school careers advisers
Chemistry for our Future held a very successful event for careers advisers at the Wellcome Collection Conference Centre on 9 June 2008.
The conference was attended by 70 delegates from around the UK, who heard presentations on A life in science, Science HE courses and What do science graduates do?
Delegates also had the opportunity to attend workshop sessions, including science 'speed dating', science careers resources and work experience and work based learning.
Several major science bodies also attended the exhibition to promote careers in science.
Initial feedback has been very positive, with the majority of participants finding the event highly relevant.
Presentations from the event are now available.
