Outreach
Attracting talented students into chemical science courses in Higher Education (HE) is vital for the future sustainability of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries in the UK and Europe, and to the future of academe and chemistry.
The term outreach refers to:
activities carried out by industry or HE to encourage school students to consider further study of the chemical sciences.
As part of our Campaign for Chemistry, we provide a variety of support for outreach initiatives organised by HE and industry. In addition, we produce a range of teaching and careers resources and organise numerous events for students as part of our Education activities.
