CPD Recognition Scheme

This scheme enables CPD courses offered by external providers to be recognised by the RSC as suitable for RSC members and the chemical science community.

The Underlying Principles

The scheme is designed for courses relevant to and contextualised towards chemical scientists, although a course may not be specifically chemical in content.

Benefits

  • Recognised courses will be advertised in the RSC training brochure and on the RSC website
  • Courses recognised by the RSC are entitled to use the RSC logo as well as the words "Recognised by the Royal Society of Chemistry for purposes of Continuing Professional Development" on any course documentation and/or publicity relating to the course
  • RSC members will receive a 15% discount on the course fee for attending an RSC recognised course (For all courses recognised after 1June 2008)
  • Recognition offers the assurance to RSC members that the course has been evaluated against defined criteria
