The Royal Society of Chemistry will be running the first event in its new series of INSET courses, Chemistry for non-chemists  at the Science Learning Centre South West on 23–24 May. Designed to support science teachers who are not chemistry specialists, these two-day training courses will cover common misconceptions in chemistry and provide hands-on experience of practical work. The first series of courses is aimed specifically at KS3 content. At the events participants will receive materials to support their chemistry teaching, such as animation, videos and other RSC resources.
