Linking HEIs and employers

The formation of strong Higher Education Institution (HEI)-employer relations is vital to establish and enhance all forms of employer engagement. Through the HE STEM Programme, the RSC are investigating means of setting up formal links between HEIs and employers, as well as ensuring that these links can be maintained in a sustainable fashion. 

• Encouraging links between HEIs and employers
• Involving employers in the development of the HEI curriculum to ensure its relevance for the future workforce
• Development of resources to introduce chemistry-focused business skills into the undergraduate curriculum
