Chemistry masterclass

Chemistry is used extensively within the pharmaceutical industry. The development of medicines, their purification and analysis is all the work of chemists. In this activity students get the opportunity to experience what it is like to be a medicinal chemist by isolating and analysing the active ingredient from a medicine on the market.
