Evaluation of Education Policy 2003

The Committee for Schools and Colleges steered an evaluation programme of RSC education policy making processes and the impact of policy on a national basis. 19 key stakeholders were interviewed. The main findings of the evaluation were:

  • RSC policy has a strong influence on national science education developments
  • Education policy is sound, based on good consultation and progressive
  • All areas of education including schools, colleges and higher education, are influenced by RSC policy
