Register of Qualified Persons

The United Kingdom Pharmaceutical Industry plays a major role in society in the provision of medicines and healthcare services. The high standards which are set in research, development, manufacturing and quality assurance depend on the skills and expertise of each person employed within it.

The Qualified Person has the responsibility to ensure that the manufacture of medicines is properly controlled and bears the final onerous duty of releasing every batch to the market place.

NOTE: Revised documents for 2008 are now available.  The fee for all applications under the Permanent Provisions (category A) is now £550.
