RSC Online Chemistry Olympiad for
UK Lower Sixth Students
The Online Chemistry Olympiad is
freely available annually from June to September.
The Royal Society of Chemistry has
designed this online test for students at the end of their first year of sixth
form studies.
It consists of forty multiple
choice questions presented in a random order. At the end of the test period
students receive individual feedback on their performance broken down into the
main areas of chemistry. Prizes are awarded to the best performing
students.
Please note that this competition
is only open to students educated in the UK.
Students can take the test at any
time within the test period. Teachers may like to encourage their students to
take it over the summer. The RSC will encourage the best performing students to
enter Round I of the International Chemistry Olympiad which is for students in
their second year of sixth form studies.
