Health and Safety

People working in this field are responsible for ensuring the health and safety of those around them. They assess and minimise the risk posed by their surroundings and make sure all departments in their organisation comply with legal safety standards.

They can work in schools or universities, laboratories or offices, or buildings used by the general public - such as leisure centres and museums. In fact, they work in all environments that could pose a risk to the people living, working or being entertained in them.
