The research and communication skills you can develop while studying chemical science are a great start for a career in law.

There are lots of different career possibilities in law. For example, you could be a: 

• court reporter
• solicitor
• patent attorney
• barrister (called an advocate in Scotland).  

Each country in the world has its own laws. The qualifications you need to do similar jobs in different countries are often quite different.
