RSC ChemNet School Visits

The RSC has a thriving annual programme of school visits for 14 to 18 year old students. 

RSC ChemNet Ambassadors  go to schools/colleges and attend careers and science fairs. The format usually revolves around a presentation followed by questions and answers. 

The presentation introduces students to the routes to studying chemistry, the career opportunities open to chemists and how RSC ChemNet can support students during their studies. The complete visit  takes about one hour.

The RSC knows that our various members of staff and RSC ChemNet Ambassadors have greatly enjoyed school visits and it is clear from visit feedback that overall these visits have been beneficial to students.
