How Science Works
One-day workshops providing practical techniques to enable teachers to meet the key changes in the new GCSEs. There is a particular focus on techniques which allow students to discuss their ideas and understanding of everyday and contemporary science issues.
The workshop provides practical strategies to teach:
- The communication of ideas in science
- Concepts such as inference / observation / accuracy /reliability / precision / repeatability / validity
- Scientific process
