Industry Study Tours

These are 3-day events using a hotel as a residential base for workshops and discussions plus visits to industrial sites. 

They provide opportunities for participants to generate ideas and collect material and data to help teach new and developing areas of the curriculum. The tours also provide an understanding of new processes and products. They also focus on helping teachers to use industry related learning material to enable students to relate science to everyday experiences. The tours have been extended to include site visits in mainland Europe. 

In 2008 there are industry study tours to:

• Budapest, 18 - 21 February (this tour is fully subscribed)
