The RSC's role

Events are currently funded to a maximum of £550 per day by the RSC but many events raise extra sums locally in cash or kind. 

The RSC also employs national coordinators to support Local Sections. They provide help with contacts and also organise training days for participants to help them make successful presentations to young people. 

The RSC has a nucleus of successful events established and a network of Local Sections, some of which have organised events in the past. 

The national coordinators can offer the RSC's expertise to potential organisers via, for example, a handbook which takes a new organising committee step-by-step through the process of hosting an event for the first time.
