The RSC's role

Events are currently funded to a maximum of £600 per day by the RSC but many events raise extra sums locally in cash or kind. 

The RSC also employs  a National Coordinator to support Local Sections. They provide help with contacts and also organise training days for participants to help them make successful presentations to young people. 

The RSC has a nucleus of successful events established and a network of Local Sections, some of which have organised events in the past. 

The National Coordinator can offer the RSC's expertise to potential organisers via, for example, a handbook which takes a new organising committee step-by-step through the process of hosting an event for the first time.
