Funding and Awards
The information below summarises the funding options available to schools and teachers from the RSC. Additionally, if you know an outstanding chemistry teacher, look at our awards which recognise excellence in the teaching profession. If you cannot find the information you require, please contact the Education Department at the RSC.
Available for international collaborative research or RSC scientific meetings
The Research Fund provides up to £4000 for those at a university or college to purchase chemicals and/or equipment.
BMCS offer a number of educational grant schemes which fund a number of small educational projects in schools and colleges.
Available for members of the RSC to attend conferences which are primarily concerned with the dissemination of good practice in learning and teaching in the chemical sciences.
