
Each scholar will receive a £20,000 (tax free) bursary to train as a teacher in England in 2013/2014 academic year. In addition, RSC Scholars will receive support during their training year and beyond from the RSC which includes:
- Membership package for 2 years, and discounted for further 2 years
- Selection of RSC materials including resources, lab coat and other consumables
- National and regional support networks including:
- Local meetings
- Online communities
- Annual conference/events
- Mentoring
The RSC Teacher Training Scholarship scheme is run in partnership with the Department for Education
Criteria for RSC Initial Teacher Training Scholarship
Application deadline: 16 July 2013. We have a series of application deadlines between January and July 2013. This webpage will be updated periodically.
