Marine biomass for biofuels
Another important biofuels resource for consideration is marine biomass derived for example from microalgae. This is of great interest because its cultivation will not compete with land use for food crops it can grow in poor quality soil, arid conditions, in saline water and most of the places where conventional bioenergy crops cannot grow.
