The uses of fuel cells


There are a wide range of applications for fuel cells from supply heat for shopping complexes, educational institutions, and mining and drilling rigs. They can also supply energy for ships and submarines.

6 September 2005: Driving fuel cells in portable applications

Engineers have developed a way to produce hydrogen for fuel cells to recharge batteries in portable electronics, such as laptops.
