In addition to these resources the LIC has access on-site only to Web of Science, Scopus and many CD-ROMS including Chemical Abstracts from 1977-2001. Beilstein CrossFire and Daresbury Chemical Database Service are available only to UK academic staff and students with Athens passwords.

The RSC Journal Archive provides access to around 195,000 fully searchable articles in 1,200,000 pages. Members pay £5 per article.
