How can you help us?
Become a Volunteer Visitor
Volunteer Visitors are crucial to the work of the Benevolent Fund. They work with beneficiaries in their local area to provide individual support to members and families who need colleague support rather than financial aid.
All Volunteer Visitors will be given an induction into the work of the Fund, and will receive training, supervision and support throughout their volunteering.
To find out more information about becoming a Volunteer Visitor, or to express your interest in a volunteering position, please contact the Fund office.

Donations
It's easy for members to make a donation to the Benevolent Fund through the membership subscription process. Simply add the donation amount to the subscription form.
Alternatively, donations by can be made by cheque, credit card or charity voucher. If you would like to make a donation using one of these methods please complete the Donation Form which is available to download from this page. Completed forms should be sent to the RSC Development Department.
The RSC is very grateful for all donations made as it is this generosity that allows the Fund to carry out its work relieving poverty and distress among members and their families.
Under the Gift Aid scheme, charities can currently reclaim an extra 25% in tax on donations from UK taxpayers. This means for every £1 you give the RSC we will receive £1.25.
(Please note that tax can only be reclaimed on donations made by individuals who pay UK income or capital gains tax at least equal to the amount reclaimed on their donations in the current tax year.)
